“Naina” meaning eye, and “Jogin” meaning Goddess, the Naina Jogin is traditionally depicted wearing a long skirt or lehenga with a beautiful veil covering her right eye. She is usually portayed carrying a basket or a bamboo fan above her head and is considered one of the most auspicious symbols in the Madhubani style of art.
May this shy, yet powerful and enigmatic Naina Jogin bless your home and ward off any evil, negative spirits.
